Questions about parts, does what fit who where, and why

56F100 460 C6 install

:help: I am in the process of installing my motor and tranny and trying to level everything out. it looks like I will need to put a spacer to get the transmission up more. I've currently left a 1/2 to 3/8 inch under the pan to the Volaire crossmember. Question is do I put the spacer under the bracket and the frame or try to space the mount with a spacer? If I dont space it the motor will be out 3/4" from the front of the valve cover to the rear. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Hi BJ,
I asked my boss about your question, and this is what she had to say, "the spacer should be between the mount and the frame, keeps the integrity of the mount, frame and trans and does not fool with any possible messing up at the trans casting."
Hope this helps!
